Who We Are
Based in Peoria IL, EcoThermics Corporation is a pioneer in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration industry (HVACR). EcoThermics' driving force is development and application of CO2-based refrigerant technology. Our core competency is knowledge and experience in high-pressure fluid mechanics and thermodynamics: the requisites for successful application of CO2-based refrigerants.
What We Do
EcoThermics develops and sells compressor, heat exchanger and other technologies. Components built with EcoThermics technologies enable HVACR manufacturers and users to replace inefficient, environmentally harmful components with sustainable alternatives that conserve energy and improve HVACR system performance and meet regulatory requirements regarding HFCs.
Why It Matters
The solution to replacing harmful hydro fluorocarbons has been widely known for years but, for a variety of reasons, mass market, commercial implementation has not been feasible. EcoThermics has applied its core competency and created solutions to these implementation problems. Now, amid soaring energy costs and increasing environmental concerns, the HVACR industry can convert to CO2-based systems for greener, safer, cost efficient, heating and cooling.
